How do I place an order and what payment methods do you accept? –
We have different options to place orders and make payments.
1. Order on-line / Pay with credit card -
Use the "Buy Now" buttons and Shopping Cart to place an on-line order. During the on-line check-out process,
you will enter your MasterCard or Visa information using our SSL secure server. Orders that are processed in this manner
will be shipped a few business days after the payment clears.
2. Order on-line / Pay with Gift Certificate -
Use the "Buy Now" buttons and Shopping Cart to place an on-line order. During the on-line check-out process,
in the comment section, enter the Gift Certificate Number and the amount of the Gift Certificate that you want to apply to your order. The Gift Certificate amount will not automatically be deducted from
the total that you see on the screen. You
will need to enter your MasterCard or Visa information using our SSL secure server but we will not charge your credit card
unless your total is over the Gift Certificate amount. We will manually deduct the amount from your total. Orders that are processed in this manner
and are covered completely by the Gift Certificate will be shipped within a few business days. If we need to process your credit card for any amount over the Gift Certificate amount, then the order will be shipped a few business days after the payment clears.
3. Order by email or phone / Pay with check or money order. -
If you prefer to pay by check or money order, please, email or call us with your name,
mailing address, phone number with area code, email address, items desired & quantities. Once we receive your order,
confirm the total and payment address, then you will need to send the payment to us. Payment must be received by us within
1 week of order date so we suggest that you mail it within 48 hours. Once the payment clears, your order will be processed.
In the case of checks, your order will be shipped after the payment clears your bank. The amount of time that clearing
takes is out of our control as it is determined by your bank. Most banks have a 7 - 10 day policy. NOTE: If you choose
to pay by check or money order, please, plan ahead and allow extra time for the payment to reach us, be deposited and for
the funds to clear before your purchase is shipped. For faster service, credit card payment is recommended.
NOTICE: A minimum $25 fee is applied to any NSF (non-sufficient funds) purchase including but not limited to bounced checks and declined credit cards. This service fee may be higher depending on the individual circumstances of each NSF purchase.
Are you Secret Pal Friendly? - Yes, Soap Sprite is Secret Pal Friendly.
The order, along with a custom note card, will be mailed directly to your Secret Pal while the receipt will be mailed directly to you. Your identity will not be shared with your Secret Pal other than the information that you provide for us to
include on the note card.
To place an order for a Secret Pal, in the comment section (1) tell us that your order is for a Secret Pal and
(2) tell us word for word what you would like us to say on the note card including how it should be signed (i.e. From Your Secret Pal). Also, (3) enter YOUR contact information in the
"Billing Details" section and (4) enter your SECRET PAL'S information in the "Shipping Address" section. It is that simple.
How will my order be shipped? -
Orders will be shipped via U.S. Postal Service's Priority Mail.
What does Soap Sprite charge for shipping & handling (S/H)? –
We charge a flat rate of $7.00 S/H per retail order. This allows you to order as much as you want and no matter where you live in the United States, S/H is still only $7.00.
Can I pick up my order? -OR- Will you deliver my order to me? –
Unfortunately, no to both. Local zoning ordinances do not allow us to sell directly from our workshop. Also, we are not equipped
to make special deliveries as it takes away time from our production and other business activities. However, during the Summer,
if you live locally (State College, PA, or Boalsburg, PA, Centre County), we may be able to make arrangements for you to pick up
your order at our weekly Farmers' Markets. If this is an option that you want to explore to save on shipping costs,
please, mention that in the comment section when you place your order.
Does Soap Sprite collect sales tax? –
The PA Department of Revenue does require that Soap Sprite collect 6% sales tax for all purchase made in Pennsylvania.
However, PA sales tax is not required on purchases sent to addresses outside of Pennsylvania.
What is Soap Sprite's return/exchange policy? –
Due to the nature of soap and personal body care products, returns and/or exchanges are not
accepted. Be assured that Soap Sprite takes great pride & care in creating high-quality items. We start with the finest
raw ingredients from reputable suppliers. We put significant research and development into every
product before it is offered to the public. Soap Sprite also puts considerable effort and
attention into the manufacturing, labeling and storage of our products. To help you avoid known allergens
and ingredients you wish not to use, our website & product labels list all ingredients in each product. We are
confident that you will be completely satisfied with your purchase.
